What Are the FTR Dimensions and Ceiling Requirements?

The assembled Force USA Functional Trainer Rack CORNERSTONE® system measures 49 in wide x 43 in deep x 87 in high (124 cm x 109 cm x 221 cm). Its compact footprint is designed for corner placement, but the training area must also accommodate the moving pulley arms and rack attachments.

FTR dimensions

• Interior: 43 in wide x 33 in deep x 81 in high (109 cm x 84 cm x 206 cm)

Ceiling requirement

The unit itself is 87 in (221 cm) tall. Use at least 94 in (239 cm) of ceiling height if you want to complete a full chin-up with your head above the handles. The FTR can physically fit under a lower ceiling if the assembled height is cleared, but chin-up range may be limited.

Working clearance

The 49 in x 43 in (124 cm x 109 cm) measurement is the base footprint. Leave additional clearance in front and on both sides for the Freestyle Pulley Arms, Spotter Arms, barbell loading, and safe movement. Check the full path of each attachment before placing the rack close to a wall.

Installation planning

• Use a level, load-bearing floor.
• Confirm the delivery path before the crates arrive.
• Keep cables and pulley arms clear of walls and stored equipment.
• Install and anchor the rack according to the owner's manual and local requirements.
