The M10 CORNERSTONE® Trainer is available in Plate-Loaded and Weight Stack configurations. The Weight Stack model starts with two 150 lb (68 kg) stacks and can be upgraded to two 200 lb (91 kg) stacks with the M10-specific dual 50 lb kit.
Choose the correct upgrade
On the Force USA Weight Stack Upgrade page, select M10, Dual 50 LB Weight Stack. This kit adds 50 lb (22.7 kg) to each side. Standard C20, FTR, and Tandem Tower stack kits are different, so select the M10 option specifically.
How the cable ratios affect resistance
The Dual Force Twist Lock Design switches each Freestyle Pulley Arm between 1:1 and 2:1 ratios.
- At 1:1, the selected weight equals the approximate handle resistance.
- At 2:1, the handle resistance is approximately half of the selected weight, with longer cable travel.
- With both upgraded arms connected at 1:1, the M10 can deliver up to 400 lb (181 kg) of total cable resistance.
Plate-Loaded M10
The Plate-Loaded configuration supports up to 270 lb (122 kg) per side. The frame, Smith Machine, Freestyle Pulley Arms, and Dual Force Twist Lock Design are the same as the Weight Stack version.
Converting a Plate-Loaded M10 to Weight Stack later is possible, but it requires the correct resistance assembly and partial disassembly. Contact Force USA support before ordering conversion parts.
Installation note
Adding the stack upgrade during initial assembly is easier than installing it later. Remove all cable tension, support the stack components, and follow the manual. If the guide rods, selector pin, or top plate do not move smoothly, stop and contact support before training.
